Section 0 - What the fnord is phytr?

        phytr is currently a single player fast paced side view fighting game.
version 0.9 is only an interactive demo, where you play the character phyl, 
and phyte the character myrphy.  Later versions will include more characters
to choose from, special moves, bosses, hidden characters, combos, and possibly
four colors and backdrops. This version utilizes no compression, so don't be
too shocked by the size (15k!)

        If you like this demo version of phytr and would like to fund further
development, send $5.00 (or more, or less, or whatever) to

Section 1 - installing phytr

        To install phytr, download phytrdr to your HP48 using kermit or 
something else.  Kids, have a parent help you... move to the phytrdr directory
to begin phyting just press "run"!

Section 2 - playing phytr

        keys:

        4 and 6         = move left and right
        7, 8, and 9     = jump left, up, and right
        2               = duck
        5               = block
        j, k, and l     = low, medium, and high punches
        p, q, and r     = low, medium, and high kicks
        SIN             = turbo mode
        COS             = undo turbo mode
        <-              = quit

Section 3 - disclaimers

        All characters, code, and graphics are the property of Aaron Brewster
and Brian Swearingin.  Anyone found distributing altered copies of this work
will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and will feel very guilty
too.
        
        We know that there are many bugs in this game still, we just didn't
feel like fixing them yet.  Please notice that this is version 0.9, which
classifies it as "under-ware," so look forward to (very distant) future
versions.  We feel that even as is, this game rocks. B)
